WSCC President Wood an advocate for two-year schools

Washington State Community College welcomed its seventh president, Vicky Wood, onto campus at the beginning of this month and Wood said she has had no problem settling into her new home. “I grew up in a rural community of Prospect, Ohio and am a first-generation community college graduate,” she said. “This experience changed my life and as a result I have spent my entire career advocating for the community college mission and helping students change their lives and the lives of their families.” said Wood.
