Business Management
The desirability of a business degree lies in its versatility. As a graduate from the program, you can expect to find employment in Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, and Advertising. Forecasts, such as those found on OhioMeansJobs.com, indicate there are strong opportunities for gainful employment in the Mid-Ohio Valley region for these types of positions, both now and in the future.
Chemical Operator
Our 32-credit hour program consists of courses covering basic mechanical systems, fundamental safety, health and environmental issues, basic math and science, workplace communications, and the computer and Internet skills necessary for online learning.
In addition to having a broad understanding of chemical processes, the chemical operator of today must possess advanced knowledge of mechanical and electrical processes, and have a solid background in math, science, and computer skills.
Health Information Management Technology
Health Information Management Technology (HIMT) is a five-semester, fully online program* with credentials built into the curriculum that you’ll earn along the way. This valuable credential equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to gain employment while continuing your education and makes you eligible to sit for various external medical coding and/or medical billing certification exams.
Medical Billing & Medical Coding
The Medical Billing and Coding Certificate program at WSCO is a three-semester, fully online program. With credentials built into the curriculum, you will gain the knowledge and skills needed to enter the workforce. The curriculum is designed to provide a seamless transition for students who want to continue their education and earn an associate degree in Health Information Management Technology .
Medical Laboratory Technology
A career in Medical Laboratory Technology lets you make a positive impact on patients’ lives while working primarily behind the scenes. You can pursue an associate degree in this in-demand field through WSCO’s completely online program. Our board certification pass rates surpass the national average by more than eight percentage points.
This online program uses a HyFlex curriculum, giving you the option to join class live online or watch recorded lectures on your own schedule.
Because Medical Laboratory Technology relies heavily on hands-on experience, students are responsible for coordinating clinical hours with a hospital near them. WSCO’s online MLT program is an excellent option for individuals currently employed in a hospital or clinical setting.
Process Technician
Our Process Technician program is designed with the needs of area manufacturing plants in mind. As a result, graduates are in high demand. Your virtual classroom experience includes working with the same machines and computerized equipment used in modern manufacturing facilities.
You’ll also learn how to read and interpret engineering drawings and apply that information in a clear, practical, and logical way on the job.
