Education Transfer

Our Education Transfer program is designed to provide general and introductory education courses that help you work toward your goal of becoming a teacher.

This program results in an Associate of Arts degree in Education Transfer and makes you eligible for employment as an Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Qualified Educational Aide.

If you are seeking teacher licensure, you will need to complete a four-year degree in education at an accredited college or university.

In addition to teaching, graduates may find employment in libraries, child care facilities, and organizations that need employee trainers. With additional coursework and teaching experience, career paths may also include counselor, principal, superintendent, or curriculum supervisor roles.

Our graduates have successfully transferred to a variety of respected institutions, including Ohio State University, Marietta College, West Virginia University at Parkersburg, Ohio University, and more.

To stay on track, be sure to work closely with your academic advisor. They can help ensure the courses you take meet the requirements of the program you plan to pursue.
