Changing Campus Culture Initiative

Β

Changing Campus Culture is an initiative of the Ohio Department of Higher Education that is embraced by Washington State College of Ohio. The purpose is to have a strong approach to preventing and responding to campus sexual violence.

To this end WSCO provides an online prevention and response education module through the Get Inclusive program. To view this video and learn more, please click here.

Additionally, WSCO utilizes educational information from the It’s On Us national campaign. This national campaign was launched in September 2014 following recommendations from the White House Task Force to Prevent Sexual Assault who noted the importance of engaging everyone in the conversation to end sexual violence.
