Degree-seeking Student (Both on-campus and online)
Ready to start your journey toward a college education? Weβre glad youβre considering a degree or certificate at Washington State. Anyone who is a graduate of an accredited high school or has passed the GED examination is eligible for admission as a degree-seeking student.
Follow the steps below to enroll at WSCO as a degree-seeking student.
- Complete our free application for admission. If youβre considering a health program, you must also complete the application packet for the program of your choice. View health program application requirements.
- Recommended: Submit your official transcript(s).
- Official high school transcripts must be sent directly from the high school or board of education to the WSCO Admissions Office by email (admissions@wscc.edu), fax (740-376-0257), or mail (WSCO Admissions, 710 Colegate Drive, Marietta, OH 45750). Homeschool students must also submit transcripts. A transcript template is available from How to Homeschool Today. Transcripts may also be hand-delivered in a sealed envelope from the high school.
- Official high school equivalency transcripts (such as GED records) should be sent through DiplomaSender to admissions@wscc.edu.
- Official college transcripts must be sent directly from the previous institution to the WSCO Records Office for evaluation.
- Once accepted, you will receive an email with instructions for accessing MyWSCO and setting up your student email account. Check your WSCO email regularly for important updates.
- Apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA and include WSCOβs school code, 010453. Be sure to also apply for WSCO scholarships.
- Schedule an admissions appointment with one of our College Pathway Advisors or register for an upcoming information session or special event by calling the Admissions Office at 740-568-1900 or visiting the Visit WSCO page.
- Register for classes and set up payment arrangements. Register early for the best selection of course times and formats.
- All fees must be paid by the published fee payment deadlines. You may pay online through your Student Planning account.
- For payment questions, contact the Business Office at 740-568-1905.
- Complete the mandatory new student orientation. Orientation is required because student success begins with a strong start.
- Obtain your New Student ID to access campus buildings, including the Library.
