This program combines real-world business concepts with practical technical skills to prepare you for a wide range of careers in management, marketing, entrepreneurship, and beyond.

You’ll learn how businesses operate, how to lead teams, how to manage finances and data, and how to think like a business ownerβ€”whether you’re working for someone else or launching something of your own.

Associate of Applied Business in Business Management Technology

This two-year degree includes coursework in:

  • Business management and leadership
  • Marketing and entrepreneurship
  • Accounting and financial principles
  • Computer applications and database management
  • International business and global commerce

The program is designed for maximum flexibility. You can take courses full-time or part-time, daytime or evening. Many classes are offered online or in a blended format. A fully online version of the degree is also available, allowing you to complete the entire program remotely.

Administrative Assistant (Executive or Medical)

The Administrative Assistant program is a 1-year certificate program that can be taken either full or part-time. Courses are offered in 8-week sessions with the option of in-person, online, and blended. Graduates will earn industry recognized credentials throughout the program, including Microsoft Office Specialist in Word and Excel as well as NCSA’s Certified Customer Service Professional.

Upon completion, graduates can choose to continue for one additional year to earn their associate degree in Business Management Technology.

The Small Business Entrepreneurship Certificate program at Washington State College of Ohio prepares current and future business owners to start or grow their own business. Our program has a flexible schedule with online and in-person course in an 8-week format. Our faculty bring decades of real world experience across multiple disciplines to the classroom.

In our program students will learn basic accounting, business law, human resources, customer service skills, and will create their own business plan.

The certificate provides a clear pathway for students who want to pursue an associate degree inΒ Business Management.
