Massage Therapy

What Will I Learn in the Massage Therapy Certificate Program?

At WSCO, we don’t just teach massage. We train future healthcare professionals. In just two semesters, you’ll learn how to assess and treat soft tissue dysfunction, reduce pain, and support the body’s natural healing process using both relaxation and deep-tissue techniques.

Students receive hands-on training in hot stones, cupping, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and other massage modalities. You’ll also gain advanced anatomy experience using SynDaver, a lifelike synthetic cadaver that brings muscle structure and movement to life.

In your final semester, you’ll complete clinical hours on campus in a professional clinic setting. You’ll work directly with clients and learn appointment management, sanitation standards, and the basics of operating a massage practice.

The program goes beyond the basics, covering anatomy, pathology, ethics, and therapeutic methods for treating a wide range of health conditions, from orthopedic injuries to autoimmune disorders.
