A Medical Career That Makes a Big Impact
Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLTs) play a critical role in patient care behind the scenes. Youβll learn how to perform essential laboratory tests on blood, tissue, and other specimens that help physicians diagnose disease and determine effective treatment plans.
At WSCO, youβll train under the supervision of experienced laboratory managers, technologists, and physicians while working with the same standards and equipment used in todayβs healthcare facilities. Students complete more than 500 hours of hands-on clinical experience in addition to coursework.
If you choose the 100% online track, all academic requirements can be completed remotely while clinical hours are fulfilled through one of WSCOβs approved partner sites.
