Center for Student Success
Center for Student Success Hours
Monday β Thursday: 8am β 6pm
Friday: 8am β 4:30pm
Located in the library, the Center for Student Success (CSS) is a one-stop shop for success-based resources. But remember, the resources canβt find you. You have to reach out to the CSS. As a good general rule, be sure to reach out to the CSS early AND often. Resources include:
Transfer Assistance
Many of our students complete a two-year transfer degree at WSCO before going on to a four-year college. If this is your plan, you can visit the Center for Student Success for information and assistance in closing the gap between this college and the next one.
Tutoring
On the road to success, sometimes you need a little extra help. Our free tutoring program is there when you need it. And if youβre especially strong in a subject, you might just consider returning the favor by serving as a tutor.
Disability Services
Many of our students complete a two-year transfer degree at WSCO before going on to a four-year college. If this is your plan, you can visit the Center for Student Success for information and assistance in closing the gap between this college and the next one.
Equipment Loans
Books arenβt the only things that are needed in the classroom. If you find yourself needing equipment, like the TI-83 calculator, the Center for Student Success (CSS) may have something that you can borrow for the semester. Contact the CSS at 740.568.1913 to learn more.
Make-up Testing
In special circumstances, instructors may allow students to make up missed tests. In these cases, special arrangements can be made with the Center for Student Success (CSS) to conduct the make-up testing. Remember, you must provide photo identification and allow enough time to complete the test before the Center closes for the day.
Writing Lab
Whether you’re seeking additional support, inspiration, or a space where creativity meets academic excellence, our dedicated tutor is here to assist you. Writing Lab is on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Library. No reservations are needed β drop in during the specified hours!
