Peoples Bank Foundation Student Market

Peoples Bank Foundation Student Market

On our campus, food insecurity is very real, and if you are experiencing it right now, you need to know you are not alone. More importantly, we want you to know that your campus family cares and we want to help. That’s why we created the Peoples Bank Foundation Student Market.

In addition to our generous sponsorship from Peoples Bank, we also receive support from the Marietta Welfare League, Marietta Community Foundation, Walmart, and the WSCO Foundation.

Goal

The Peoples Bank Foundation Student Market provides nutritious food to students and their families. To support this mission, we collaborate with the Marietta Community Food Pantry, the Southeastern Ohio Food Bank, Washington County Harvest of Hope, and other regional pantries.

The Market is designed to resemble a grocery store experience. We provide ongoing support to students and their families, as well as emergency assistance when needed. Our goal is to serve as many students as possible. We welcome monetary donations, non-perishable food donations, and volunteers.

Access

Students may select food items that suit their taste or dietary needs. Use of the Peoples Bank Foundation Student Market is anonymous; however, students must use their student ID to enter.

Location

The Peoples Bank Foundation Student Market is located in the CSS/Library building and can be accessed from the upper student parking lot through either the rear or main entrances.
