Early Enrollment Program (EEP)
Exclusively through WSCO, the Early Enrollment Program (EEP) offers free tuition for eligible students for a limited number of credit hours each term. This program is now application-based and does not guarantee funding for all students. Funding is limited, so students are encouraged to apply early to maximize their chances of securing this opportunity.
EEP is designed for high school students who are unable to participate in College Credit Plus (CCP) but would like the opportunity to take classes at WSCO or online and earn college credit. Students are responsible for the cost of books, materials, and fees.
Students will need to speak with their advisors to apply for EEP.
Eligibility & Additional Information
- You must be an Ohio student in grades 10–12 to be eligible to apply.
- Current CCP students may apply to take EEP courses only after they have used all 30 credit hours allowed under CCP rules.
- Sophomores may take one course per semester, starting the summer after their freshman year.
- Juniors and seniors may take up to two courses per semester.
- Graduating seniors may take one course the summer after high school if they have completed at least 9 WSCO credit hours.
- Registration for EEP courses begins 10 business days prior to the start of each term and is contingent upon available funding and space.
Application & Class Registration Process
- Apply for admission at apply.wsco.edu .
- Ask your school counselor to send us an official high school transcript.
- Complete the appropriate readiness assessment if you want to take a college-level math or English class. Contact the Student OneStop at 740-568-1900 to talk with a College Pathway Advisor to determine if additional testing is needed.
- Schedule an appointment to meet with your College Pathway Advisor and register for classes.
