About the Position
Washington State Community College invites applications and nominations for the position of Academic Dean of Technology and Transfer beginning January 2020.
The Academic Dean of Technology and Transfer will serve as a dynamic innovator and change agent. Under the supervision of the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Academic Dean of Technology and Transfer will lead the areas of Liberal Arts Transfer and General Education, Engineering, Information Technology, Business and Public Services as the strategic and operational champion to enhance student success by managing, developing, and implementing academic programming; leading a team of faculty and staff; and developing strategies to promote student enrollment, retention, and completion in accordance with the College’s vision, mission, and values in the pursuit of excellence.
Qualified candidates must hold a minimum of a Master’s degree from an accredited institution. Candidates must also possess 3-5 years experience in supervision, leadership, or administration. The ideal candidate will also have experience teaching in higher education and evidence of continual professional development in the field of concentration.

Parking: There is often parking available at the parade start Napoli’s Pizza or anywhere along the side streets in Vincent.
