Evergreen Arts & Humanities 2017-18 Series Announced

MARIETTA, OH (August 1, 2017) — The Evergreen Arts & Humanities Series at Washington State Community College (WSCC) announces their 2017-2018 events calendar. These performances are presented in collaboration with the Washington State Foundation and Schwendeman Agency, Inc.

• Sept. 16- Concert, “A Night of Bluegrass” Johnny Staats and the Delivery Boys, 7:30 pm
• Oct. 14- Family performance, “Wings of Courage” Mad River Theater Works, 7:30 pm
• Nov. 11- Lecture, “The 1967 Arab-Israeli War and its Consequences 50 Years Later” Dr. Terence Zuber, 7:30 pm (Sponsored by Jane E. Morris in memory of Harold and LaRue Graham Morris)
• Feb. 3- Family film, “Beauty & the Beast” (2017), 7 pm (Sponsored by Dr. Frieda Owen)
• March 10- Lecture, “Conflicts in Today’s Middle East” Dr. Janice Terry, 7:30 pm (Sponsored by Whits Frozen Custard, Marietta, OH)
• April 14- Concert, The Trillium Piano Trio, 7:30 pm (Sponsored by Mark & Terry Nutter)

Each of these events will be held in Graham Auditorium of the Arts & Sciences building on the campus of WSCC. Admission will be free to every event, but please be aware that seating is limited. The Evergreen Arts & Humanities Series was established in 1998 to bring free and low-cost educational, cultural and entertainment programming to the community. Events are made possible in part by financial gifts to the Evergreen Arts & Humanities Fund at the Washington State Community College Foundation.
