What Is the Practical Nursing Program Like?
Practical nursing is the heart of hands-on healthcare. At Washington State College of Ohio, our Practical Nursing program prepares you to provide essential, compassionate care as part of a professional healthcare team.
Under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, you’ll learn how to support patients across acute, long-term, and community care settings. The program blends classroom instruction with real-world clinical experience, helping you build the confidence and competence to make a difference from day one.
What Certificate Will I Earn in the Practical Nursing Program?
Graduates earn a Certificate of Practical Nursing Education and are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nursing (NCLEX-PN) to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
