What Will I Learn in the Medical Billing and Coding Program?
Medical billing and coding specialists play a critical role behind the scenes of healthcare. You’ll learn how to translate procedures, diagnoses, and treatments into standardized codes used for billing and insurance reimbursement, ensuring accuracy and compliance in patient records.
You’ll also gain an understanding of insurance contracts, payment models, and regulatory guidelines, while learning how to advocate for patients to ensure fair billing and proper reimbursement.
The program is structured to help you earn stackable national credentials in medical coding, medical billing, and Certified Revenue Cycle Representation, all within just nine months. With small online class sizes, you’ll receive personalized support as you build in-demand skills employers are actively seeking.
